Susan, a tenured professional and Director with the BottomLine Group, has 20 years of experience in the Financial Services and Business Travel industries. Susan has successfully led highly complex, large-scale business transformation initiatives such as: New Servicing Models, Differentiated Client Experience Branding, and Field Effectiveness Transformations. Susan’s broad strategic background makes her a well-rounded general manager with expertise in Customer Research, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Marketing, Sales and Communications, Value Proposition Development, Retention Management and Solutions-based Selling and Pricing.Prior to joining BLG, Susan held senior roles as Director of Business Strategy, Quality, Marketing, Relationship Management, Field Sales Marketing and Operations for American Express, Standard Life and TD Canada Trust.
Mark Jevnikar , B.Sc., B.Ed., MBA
Mark Jevnikar is a Director at The BottomLine Group and has 12 years of Senior Management and Consulting experience in the Transportation, Communications, Pharmaceutical and Technology industries. During his four year tenure at Tandet Management, Mark was Operations Manager and had P & L responsibility for a $25 M, 60 employee, multi-location enterprise. Mark led a team that developed new service offerings that added more than 20% to top line revenue, while improving productivity and reducing costs by a similar factor. In his eight years as a Management Consultant, he has been involved in start-up, operations, sales, turnaround, procurement and strategic sourcing engagements.Most recently, Mark has been involved in an extended engagement with a financial services company. In this role, Mark has developed and executed upon innovative travel management strategies that delivered tens of millions of dollars of bottom line savings to Fortune 500 clients. His clients include GlaxoSmithKline, American Express, Tandet, Superior Propane, Communicorp and Invotrax.
Lisa John-Mackenzie, M.B.A., B.A.
Lisa has fifteen years experience in Business-to-Business Marketing, Business Strategy and Consulting, primarily for the Travel and Expense Management industry. Lisa has worked in various Canadian and North American markets to develop and implement strategies to help drive revenue growth through new sales and client expansion. In her most recent experience with American Express she was responsible for recommending strategic direction and managing projects to help drive the Canadian Travel business forward.Elaine Marshall, B. Elaine has over fifteen years of Strategic Planning & Management experience. Elaine designs and delivers creative solutions to complex business issues in the areas of finance, pricing, sales and re-engineering. She previously served as a Director and member of Corporate Services Executive Leadership Team with American Express. Elaine is achievement-oriented, with proven success in building high performing teams and transforming business strategies to improve shareholder value. Alexa Nick is a Director at BottomLine Group with expertise in corporate and business unit strategy, mergers and acquisitions, organization design, performance and productivity, customer-focused strategy, delivery channel strategy and enterprise transformation. Alexa has over 14 years of broad strategic consulting experience with international clients in financial services, wireless communications, computer software, specialty chemicals, healthcare, manufacturing and consumer products industries. Alexa began her career as a management consultant, first with Braxton Associates then with A.T. Kearney’s strategy and organization practice, where she focused her efforts on building the practice’s mergers and acquisitions offering. She assisted numerous international clients in achieving their merger goals.Alexa is also owner and founder of Customer Realities Group Inc., a Canadian consultancy focused on developing creative strategies and learning programs to enhance the client and customer experience. Through both its U.S. subsidiary, myPractice LLC and its Canadian subsidiary, myPractice Canada Inc., it offers “virtual” training that helps clients close the customer experience gap. The business has established relationships within Financial Services, Telecom, Pharma, Automotive and Professional Services and works with Canadian and US-Based Fortune 500 companies.
Alexa is involved in a number of volunteer Boards, specifically with the Pierre L. Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Ivey Alumni Association at the Richard Ivey School of Business. In the past, she has also held a number of Board positions with Covenant House Toronto, The Learning Partnership, GEMS of Hope, and the Inner Stage Theatre.
Annemarie Reininger
Annemarie is a twenty-year veteran in the Travel and Expense Management industry. In her most recent position as Manager of Global Supplier Relationships for MDS Inc, she applied her experience in vendor negotiations, supplier relationship management and strategic business planning, driving best-in-class results for the company. Her career started in Sales and Account Management for luxury hotel chains and later progressed to the Travel & Expense Management field with American Express where she held various positions such as Director of Relationship Management and Director of Business Development and Strategic Acquisitions. With this she led the Canadian strategic sales and implementations of corporate travel and card programs for several global organizations. Complimenting her active involvement in the Travel and Expense industry is her commitment to ACTE, The Association of Corporate Travel Executives, where Annemarie was recently elected to the Board of Directors.Alan Thomson – M.B.A.
Alan Thomson is a Director at BottomLine Group with 25 years progressive Canadian and international experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Contracts Management, and Project Management both within industry and as a management consultant. Alan has proven success in positively influencing key business drivers and driving new business strategies. Key strengths include excellent communication skills, creative problem solving capabilities and an ability to build solid internal and external relationships. Alan has expertise in negotiations, contract/subcontract management and strategic sourcing. Alan is able to conduct business in both official languages. Alan completed an MBA at the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario. Prior to joining BLG, Alan held management roles at Spar Aerospace Limited and Petro-Canada and was a management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he led strategic and operational engagements for Canadian and International clients.
